  2. To conduct study tour and students visit at different indological research institutes.
  3. To promote scope for research among teachers in the department.
  4. To engage alumni of the department for overall development of the students.
  5. To gain knowledge on Manuscriptology and palaeography by arranging different workshops occasionally.
  6. To develop moral and value education among the students and other people also.
