1.Nirmala Debi Memorial Award:

This award is instituted by Dr. Swati Sucharita, Reader in Botany in memory of her grandmother Smt. Nirmala Debi, a distinguished Odia poet and a State Sahitya Academy winner. The student securing highest marks in Odia Honours in the final year will be awarded with a prize money of Rs1,00,000/-. In order to promote the “Odia” language this award will be presented to the meritorious and outstanding Odia Honours student.

2. Memorial Awards: The following three numbers of prizes instituted by Sri Bidyut Kumar Rath are awarded to the students by the end of each academic year.

(a) Krushnapriya Rath Memorial Award: A Prize money of Rs 4000/- and a Running Trophy is awarded to the Best All-Rounder Student in the memory of Late Krushnapriya Rath, the mother of the donor. This Award recognises the distinguishability of students’ excellence in every aspect and beyond academic excellence. The outgoing students of an academic session are acknowledged on the basis of their excellent performance in academics, punctuality, extra curriculum activities, their participation in social and cultural events, leadership and their personal conduct. The award encourages the students and thereby enhancing the standard of excellence.

(b) Udayanath Rath Memorial Award: A prize money of Rs 4000/- and a Running Trophy for the Best Graduate in the memory of Late Udayanath Rath, the father of the donor. This Award is presented to the students who exceeds the expectations with their immense hard work, accepting feedback and who set an example for their peers. The faculty and the staff nominate the students who excel in the academic records and has great contributions to the college. This award honours the outgoing students of an academic session to inspire the successive batch students.

(c ) Hemanta Kumar Rath Memorial Award: A prize money of Rs 4000/- and a Running Trophy for the best student in Social Service in the memory of the elder brother of the donor. This Award is a token of appreciation for those who dedicatedly provided their service in the field of social work. It’s a tribute for those who selflessly work for the well-being of the society. It motivates the students for the society and nation building process.

3. Raghunath Pani Memorial Award: Instituted by Prof. S. P. Pani, the director, DDCE in memory of his father Dr. Raghunath Pani, 2^nd HOD, Department of Education of B.J.B. College. The Award is presented to the student securing the highest mark in Education Honours in the final degree Examination for acknowledging their performance.
