  • An Inter-college competition on Hindi, English and Odia Elocution along with English and Odia essay was organized on 16/09/2023 in BJB Autonomous College by Mo College in association with J.B Friends (Alumni Association) on the Theme “Youth Remembers Gandhi (YOUR Gandhi)”. Distinguished Alumni Mr. Debasis Patnaik, Mr. Pratap Jena, Mr. Kedar Pattnaik, Mr. Krushna Patra, Mr. Ashwini Tiwari, Principal Prof G.M. Khan, Coordinator Mo College, Dr. Sampriti Panda, and co members – Dr. Puspanjali Sahoo and Shri S R Sahoo conducted the program smoothly. Other esteemed faculties of the colleges Dr. Lekha Das, Dr. Mousumi Das, Dr. Bibhabari Bal and Dr. Sujit Mishra acted as Judges for the competition. Student Representatives from different colleges participated in the program and made it a huge success.

Mo College, B.J.B Autonomous College in association with ‘ICAC’ & ‘Mo College’ organized Career Counselling Program, for commerce students of the college on 14th Sep 2023 at 11.30 am.  ‘Mo College Abhijan’ Chairperson Shri Akash Dasnayak joined the program as chief guest where he enlightened students on choosing the right path and to have ‘never surrender’ attitude to achieve the goal. ‘Rigorous hard work and dedication can be the only key’ he stated.  Renowned CA Shri Prithvi Ranjan Padhi was the chief speaker of the event where he suggested many important values that one has to carry forward to be successful in this career. ‘Mo College’ coordinator Dr. Sampriti Panda coordinated the event. BJB college Principal Prof. G.M.Khan, Vice Principal Dr. Madhubrata Satpathy, CA Pradip Kumar Sahoo, Chairman, ICAC (Bhubaneswar), CA Gagan Bihari Das(EICSA), organizing committee member CA Janhvi Deo, ‘Mo College’ Asst. coordinators Dr. Pushpanjali Sahoo & Dr. Smruti ranjan Sahoo and Asst. coordinator of career counseling cell Kalyani Biswal were present during the entire event. Later, expertise and students discussed various questionnaires. Dr. Lipsa Mishra, coordinator of career counseling cell gave the vote of thanks by winding up the program.

Mo College, BJB Autonomous College organized various Intra-College Competitions on the Theme of Gandhjii like Essay, Elocution and Quiz competitions among its students on 4th Sep 2023. More than 300 students participated in the Competitions and made it a grand success. The Coordinator Mo College, Members of Mo College and other Senior faculties who acted as Judges in the competitions also graced in the competitions and made it a huge success.

A Dental checkup camp from Hi Tech Medical College was organized on 24th Feb 2023 by Mo college in association with other wings of BJB Autonomous College for students, staff and faculties of the college.  Graced by – Principal – Prof. G M Khan, Vice Principal – Dr. Madhubrata Satpathy, Dr. Sampriti Panda – Coordinator Mo College and other faculties of the college.  A team of Dentist from Hi – Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar conducted check-up camp and also followed up the patients in due course of time. More than 100 of students and staff members participated in this camp and made this a grand success.

A Career Counselling session on RBI career prospects was conducted on 05th Dec 2022 at 11:30 AM, by Career Counselling Cell, BJB Autonomous College in association with Mo College, B.J.B Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar. Graced by – Principal – Prof. Niranjan Mishra, Vice Principal – Dr. Madhubrata Satpathy, Sampriti Panda – Coordinator Mo College, Dr. Moushami Das, Coordinator – Career Counselling Cell Chief Guest – Chief General Manger -in-charge, RBI, Mumbai Shri Subrata Das and Guest Speaker – RBI Regional director Shri Hrudanand Panda Most of the Faculties of the College were present. Most of the Faculties of the College were present. More than 100 students participated and interacted in the career counselling session and made it a grand success.

A ” One Day Campus Cleaning Programme” was organised on 05th Nov 2022 at 09:30 AM, by BJB Autonomous College in association with Mo College, J.B Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar. Graced by – Principal – Prof. Niranjan Mishra, Vice Principal – Dr. Madhubrata Satpathy, Dr. Sampriti Panda – Coordinator Mo College, All the Unit Coordinators of the college including NSS, NCC, YRC, Ranger and Rovers and Members of Mo College along with other various Faculties of the College were present. More than 180 students participated and cleaned the campus surroundings and made it a grand success.

A “Mental Health Awareness” Seminar was organised on 13th Oct 2022 at 3:00 PM, by Mo College, and Department of Psychology, B.J.B Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar. Graced by – Principal – Niranjan Mishra, Prof. Suman Das, CLC Member- Mo College Prof. Jhumki Rath, HoD Psychology, Dr. Sampriti Panda – Coordinator Mo College, Members of Mo College and various Faculties of the college. Guest Speaker – Dr. Alok Jyoti Sahoo, Psychiatric Specialist, DHH Khordha. More than 80 students participated to make the program a grand success.

Mental Health Awareness Seminar on 13th Oct 2022

Mo College, BJB Autonomous College today observed “Har Ghar Tiranga” through a road rally and distributed around 100 flags to various institutions, departments, shop vendors, houses, etc. through students and volunteers of various wings of college. Organised on 13th Aug 2022, around 3 pm in a Road rally in and around college and Kalpana Chaak. The rally was joined by students and faculties of the college to make it a grand success.

BJB Autonomous College organized Poster Competition on the Theme – “Catch the Rain” to observe Rain Day 2022 on 29th July 2022. An Awareness Programme on the eve of International Day against Drugs Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, on 25th June 2022, at 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm in the college The occasion was graced with the august presence of Chief Guest – Md. Zia-ul-Haque, Special Public Prosecutor, Chief Speaker – Mr. Shantu Saha, Intelligence Officer, Narcotics Control Bureau, Speaker- Dr. Imran Ali, Social Worker, Principal, Coordinator Mo College and other faculty members. Around 100 students participated in the Programme and made it a huge success.

8th International Yoga Day, observed by B. J. B Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar, On 21st June 2022, At 9.00 AM, Chief Guest – Mr. Bidyadhar Jena, Yoga Pravari Patanjali Yoga Kendra, Khordha District. Graced by presence of Principal Sir- Prof. Niranjan Mishra and other faculty Members of various Wings (NCC, YRC, NSS, R&R, Mo College) marked their presence and also participated in Yoga practice Around 55-60 Students participated in the programme.


8th International Yoga Day, observed on 21st June 2022

Blood Donation Camp organised on 28th May 2022 at 30 am by Mo College B.J.B Autonomous College in association with NCC, NSS, YRC, R&R wings of the college. 80 units of blood were collected by the Team consisting of 7 members from Odisha Blood Centre, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar. More than 150 students participated and volunteered. Lt. Col. Prasun Kumar Panda, AO, 6(O) Battlion, Puri, graced the ocassion as the Chief Guest of the Event. Prof. G.M. Khan, Prof. Jhumki Rath, Dr. Ananya Mohapatra, Dr. Mihir Das, Dr. Lekha Das, Dr. Sampriti Panda(Coordinator Mo College), Dr.Smruti Ranjan Sahoo, Dr. Geetanjali Panda and other faculties were present during the Blood Donation Camp.

National Seminar, on “Mental Wellness and Today’s Youth: Stigma and Concerns” on 26th April 2022

A road rally was organised on 19th April 2022, 7.30 am by Mo College, B.J.B Autonomous College in association with NCC to observe 52nd Earth Day 2022. Around 70 students participated in the road rally and covered the way from the college campus- State Museum- Kalpana Chaak- Rajmahal Chaak- AG Chaak and back to College Campus along with Placards and Slogans spreading awareness to save the planet

Mo College, B.J.B Autonomous College, successfully organized Heritage Walk on the occasion of Capital Foundation Day i.e. on 13th April 2022 in association with Bhubaneswar Smart city Limited from 6.30 am -9.30 am through the route of Mukteswar Temple Complex- Parmeswar temple- Kedar Gouri Temple- Bindusagar – Lingaraj Temple Around 50 students participated and had an enriching session on our heritage and temple architecture.

On 19th December 2021, Inauguration of Renovated Office Room of BJB Friends was conducted in the premise of BJB Autonomous College, in the presence of Sj. Ashok Chandra Panda, Hon’ble Minister and various eminent alumnus of the The Inauguration meeting was attended by faculties of the college both teaching and non – teaching and by other alumni of the college.


19th December 2021, Inauguration of Renovated Office Room of BJB Friends

On 29TH November 2021, a Student – Alumni Interface was conducted by Mo College, BJB A College which was addressed by Guest Speaker, a proud alumnus of the College, Shri B.K. Pattanaik, IAS (Retd.), Former Chief Secretary, Odisha, The Interface was attended by almost 200 students and an interactive session on career perspectives and personality development was discussed at large while the Guest Speaker kept answering the doubts and questions asked by the students.

29TH November 2021, a Student – Alumni Interface

On 21st October 2021, a Contributing Amount of Rs 7,50,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Fifty Thousand) was received from our beloved Alumni of the college and from BJB Friends Association which was handed over by President and Secretary of BJB Friends to the College. The Contributors included Shri Debasish Patnaik,, Jagannath Mohapatra, Shri, Shyam Sundar Pattnaik and many more Alumni altogether who contributed through BJB Friends.

On 26th September 2021, a Friendly visit to the campus was done by the MCAPS Chairman and Hon’ble MP Shri Ashok Panda along with President and Secretary of BJB Friends accompanied by Principal Sir, Administrative Bursar, Academic Bursar and Coordinator Mo The visit included a small interaction with the students practicing in the basket ball ground of the college and involved visit to the hostel, also discussed the overall infrastructure development of the college.

On 20th July 2021 , a Virtual Meeting of the alumni of the college was organized presided by respected Chairperson, MCAPS, Shri Akas Dasnayak and the College Level Committee Members of Mo College BJB A College which included our Respected Principal Prof Niranjan Mishra, President BJB Friends, Shri Debasis Pattnaik, Secretary BJB Friends, Sri Satyabrat Dhupal, Member CLC, Mo College, Prof. Chinmaya Pradhan, Prof. Trinath Das, Prof. Suman Das, Miss Nikita Ahya, Coordinator , Dr. Sampriti Panda and many more who met in the virtual meeting to share their journey and shape the alumni association of BJB College.
